The Giveaway is now over. All keys have been sent. Happy New Year and congratulations to the winners!
Thank you again to the Linux community for their helpfulness, openness and dedication.
No, you don't have to love penguins to participate.
Last year adamhm and several others of the GOG Linux community were very helpful in assisting with my decision to transition to Linux. This year I wanted to give a little back the community and hopefully inspire more gamers to consider Linux as well. The amount of helpfulness and support I've seen among the Linux community has been inspiring all on it's own. The number of games they have worked hard to make available on Linux, whether thru wrappers or other means, and the number and variety of games now compatible with Linux amazed me.
To see for yourself, you can check out:

and a list of DRM free multi-platform multi-player games which work with Linux:

The Unity engine also allows Linux users to play games natively on Linux as well.

So this Penguin Lovers Giveaway is a huge THANK-YOU to the GOG Linux community for their helpfulness, dedication and support in educating and assisting all who love gaming and Linux, or want to try Linux. It is also to encourage those of you who may be curious about Linux or Linux gaming to check it out and ask questions. We have a great community here which are happy to help.

If you are not a Linux user (yet) please feel free to ask questions, although as a newb I'll gratefully leave the answering up to our Linux community gurus. :)
The Giveaway will run until the 1st of January, 2018 at 20:00 UTC, and more games may be added. If any wish to donate games I will gladly add them to the list and credit the donor (unless you indicate you wish to be anonymous), but please make sure all games work with Linux. Winners will not be posted but will receive keys via PM, so make sure your chat settings are set to all users. If I cannot send you the key within 3 days your entry will be disqualified.
Rules:
- As a lurker myself I understand a lower rep, but you are required to have an acct that is at least 2 months old.
- As stated, if your chat settings do not allow me to contact you within 3 days from end of giveaway, your entry will be
disqualified.
- Winners will be selected randomly and only after the giveaway period stated above has ended.
- You may list multiple games in order preferred, but each winner will receive only 1 prize - the most preferred of the
prizes remaining.
- Please only enter for games you personally wish to play, unless you wish to nominate somebody in the GoG Linux community to thank them.
- Please check and only enter for games that your system can run.
- Please only enter for games you sincerely wish to play, not just collect.
- Keys are not to be traded, they are for personal use only or as a gift to your nominee for their personal enjoyment.
- Any key not redeemed by 10 January 2018 may be given to another entrant, returned to the donator if donated, or reserved for a future giveaway.
- I reserve the right to disqualify entries at my discretion.
That's it. Except my sincere thanks to adamhm for the encouragement and helpful advice in running this giveaway, as well as for his own inspiring giveaways and work on wrappers. Also a thank you to several in the Linux community here for answering questions, encouragement, time and dedication.
Many thanks to:
skirtish - for the donation of the Baldur's Gate bundle & Psychonauts
