1. I agree with many of the suggestions already stated, and I would not hesitate to recommend the follow “marked with a Penguin” games on GOG which have not been mentioned yet (in no particular order below):
FoxTail: very mellow and relaxing point-and-click adventure game, nice pixel graphics. “In development” though so the game is not yet complete, so far there are two chapters with a third in progress.
Anna's Quest: point-and-click adventure.
Edna and Harvey - Harvey's New Eyes: point-and-click adventure, manages to be both creepy and funny at the same time.
Chroma Squad: simple turn-based tactical battles, nice pixel art, a lot of meta humour.
Knights of Pen and Paper +1: an earlier meta RPG-lite game by the same devs as Chroma Squad.
Eschalon Book 1,Book 2,Book 3: turn-based isometric RPG, explore at your own pace. Book 1 is free, so it costs nothing to try it out.
Wasteland 2: Party-based RPG with large maps and turn-based tactical combat.
2. My new year’s resolution is to complete certain older games before my wife switches our computer to a new OS which makes them incompatible! Luckily my backlog is quite small and she has kindly given me time to do so.
3. I am in for Deponia 4: Deponia Doomsday.
Thank you bjgamer!
