It's not just PayPal. I'm having the same problem with a Visa debit card.

Yesterday I had issues paying for an order with PayPal, but not with a VISA prepaid card.

It seems that the new Firefox upgrades broke Paypal integration.
You can still use it with another browser on GOG.
Not even creating a new user profile on Firefox made it work again, so they changed some settings in the update and broke GOG's Paypal with it.

I can confirm, paypal works with edge browser. Firefox didnt work today.

I'm now finding I can buy things with the debit card: the error box goes away after I finish typing in my CCV number.
Edit: obtaining some free stuff also worked, with the error box nonetheless visible even though, since there was nothing to pay, there were no selectable payment methods.

I'm using Firefox but I haven't updated in a while yet Paypal isn't working for me. The credit card option seems to work. Disabling ad-blocker did nothing to fix the Paypal issue.

The PayPal option doesn't work for me in Firefox or in GOG Galaxy. But it's working in Edge. Very strange issue.

Yeah can use Paypal now with Chrome which is what I had been using, Open Source Chrome but anyway. Guess there's still a problem on Firefox.

I used Paypal several times with Firefox during the past week (also on GOG), before and after this thread was started.
Works like a charm.
Whatever causes the problems, it's not "just" firefox. Try to deactivate your plugine.
In my case it runs fine with several plugins active, but of course I can't say which ones you installed.
