I've probably never heard of it. The only references to "Jinn" I've ever encountered were in the Golden Sun games.

I assure you that I haven't picked something obscure/weird/requiring special knowledge. I know that non-native English speakers are in the game, so I wouldn't do that to you guys. However, I don't believe it's breaking the rules (since this is something you could figure out just by searching the word) to let you know that "jinn", or, alternatively "djinn" is another word for "genie".
