Well, flowers need sunlight, the leafs (leaves?) of the trees hinder the sunlight to get to the ground, where flowers normally grow.

Honestly, that's what I was thinking as well. "meadow" makes me think of grass. "forest" makes me think of trees.

Also, before things start again, team 1 (PaterAlf and a4plz) must make a guess at the super password, for which the first clue is "flower".
