What you've actually downloaded is the game + GOG Galaxy stub installer. You then ran into a networking issue with GOG Galaxy that left you unable to install the game. There's a good chance you can solve this issue if you
Disable IPv6 and restart your system.
Alternatively, you can use a web browser to download the offline installer for the game from
your library. You'll only miss out on cloud saves by not using GOG Galaxy with this game.

That's an understatement. DXDiag isn't relevant since you're unable to install the game in the first place. It's marked as compatible with Windows (7, 8, 10, 11).
