My story is actually not quite ready to tell yet... for the last few years, my brother has been out of PC gaming completely, and went through a very hard time with some life circumstances. I have a story about giving something we don't use to the most needy. This year there was a clothing peditory for a family that had two children and they had lost their jobs. I handed them some clothes and they stayed very grateful with the offer because they couldn't buy for them and their children.

Still more than a week left to get your picks in.

I have to squeeze my brain to think of a good Christmas time. My former family were very cold people and we were unfriendly to each other. But I was very surprised when I was welcomed into my old partner's family. They had me for Christmas dinner, we exchanged presents and had fun. I had seen things like that only in films and I could not believe I was taking part to it. The only Christmas I remember as a child, my mother bought a present to my cousin to show off while for me she put some present paper around an old toy and I had to pretend it was new and I was happy about it. Now I can laugh about all this of course! But Christmas is not something I like honestly.

I was living in a room rental when I turned 18 (due to an abusive family situation) and I had lost my first job as I was a terrible employee. My landlord was threatening to kick me out if I didn't pay the rent in 24 hours. I still remember that I was staring at the phone wondering what I was going to do when an adult mentor called me from out of the blue. When he heard about my situation he offered his spare room to me gratis until I got back on my feet. Truly was a Xmas miracle

So when I was around 12, my parents went abroad for further studies and left me with my aunt. She was very nice to me, but her husband was rude and abusive to his whole family and me. So my aunt was preparing some nice food that she said she was giving away and I took the opportunity to follow her out of the house, which is weird because I'm pretty much an antisocial homebody, but I did not want to be alone with my terrible uncle. I had no idea where she was going but I thought she was bringing the food to a party and that I might get to enjoy the food when I got there.

So we pull up to a nondescript white building with a bunch of old people inside and my aunt asks for my help to bring the food in. I was not feeling the party vibe at this time. Anyway once I helped bring in the food trays, I discovered it was a church event to bring some holiday cheer to the residents of an old folks' facility. I almost burst into tears when I saw plenty of faces lit up with happiness at the food, the skits (I don't remember much of the performance tbh. Amateur performances you understand *wink wink*), and the company. I had a hard time communicating with the elderly folks because they were speaking a dialect so I just nodded at everything they said. I just hope I made them feel better that someone listened to them that day
