Ohhhh, I was not expecting a thread like this to show up! Quite a pleasant surprise, if I do say so myself. =)

Happy Easter, folks! Hope everyone is enjoying their lunch.

I just saw last year's thread, of which you were the OP, so it makes sense that you'd recall it (tbh, I didn't recall that thread myself). The response to that one was,well, lackluster, with most non-orthodox people in that thread pretty much being either ignorant or mocking us Orthodox ones (at least that's the impression I personally got from that).
At any rate, thus, my tactic of creating the thread a week eariler seems to have paid off (as it gave more time to more understanding people to find said thread).
Next year however (I just found out), Easter will take place on April 16th and will thus be on the same date for both Orthodox and people of other dogmas, so I'm not certain whether we should have a ghetto-ized thread next year or just post in the universal Easter thread and hope for the best (aka the least misunderstandings from ignorant people).
On 2018, the Easters will be again on a different date, but we have a lot of time till then...

Living in the USA, I never get a chance to wish anyone this outside of my family and at church. Thanks GOG for this thread. Happy easter everyone :)
