kachna96: So, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is getting physical release on June 14th and apparentely it will be without any DRM and you'll get a steam key as well. There's still hope that it might appear on gog sooner or later.
Physical? No DRM? Sold.
I just noticed the name Nordic Games on the box cover... Maybe a GOG release isn't as unlikely as first thought?

I also noticed the Microsoft logo on the other side. :P
It's possible that Nordic is just the European distributor for the game and nothing else.

Geralt_of_Rivia: And another so called 'Definitive Edition' hits the streets. Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition expands the game with a few new areas and abilities. If you already own the original version on Steam you can get the Definitive Edition there for 5$.

I don't know why we never got the original here but maybe GOG will think about getting the Definitive Edition since it is a new release?
Although I wish Ori and the Blind Forest was on GOG, I'm just glad there's a PC version at all, because I have heard so many great things about this game, but there's no way I would (or could) get an Xbox One just to play it.

There's your answer.
After Dust: An Elysian Tail, I have trouble beleiving anything that says "Microsoft Studios" as the publisher (yeah, I know, XBox Live Arcade has changed form since then).

I haven't played Ori yet since I don't use Steam but from what I have seen from it I can say that if you like Ori you will like Dust as well.

Thank you. I will have to look into that. :)

It's been more than a year since I played dust so I could be misremembering things but ori has more platforming elements than dust whereas dust is more focussed on action part.

I've beaten both and can confirm this.

Dust is more like hack and slash, whereas Ori is more slower and focus on jumping around and solving simple puzzles.

Hmm... in that case, seems I would be interested in Ori more than Dust.

Microsoft, the company who would rather lock games behind unpopular OSes or Console releases rather than give gamers what they ask for...
Dagnabbit Geralt_of_Rivia!!

When I saw Ori on the forums, I thought for a split second it was finally coming here :(

Dust was originally a Microsoft published 360 exclusive. So you never know...

Dust is not owned by Microsoft.

Actually I'm not sure if there's multiple publishers, or what the rules are on that...

Unpopular OSes. Right. Keep on dreaming.

Being ignorant due to lack on knowledge is one simple thing, being retarded for the sake of it is on another level completely.
