Operation Scrooge failed so i have to make a new budget plan until Wednesday . Any ideas ?
Context? Or is this another confidential "code" thread so that friends can add you?
Do the thing with the spaghetti, the nails and the three shredded newspapers. Works every time.

Jokes apart.
You can save money by skipping a heavy meal from your routine (Don't skip breakfast). Go for lighter meal for supper.
You can make list of things according to your needs.
Like you need food daily so cooking it is cheaper than ordering it.
Also resist the temptation of things you can buy later and their price will reduce eventually (like video games).
Buy non spoil-able grocery in bulk (you may get heavy discount on that).
Instead of buying from supermarket buy from local farmers (they may sell veggies cheaper).
Try to keep 50%( or 60%) of earning to your current month and save the other 50% (or 40%).
Out of that 50%(or 40%) saving try to never spend 10%-15% of salary(for desperate time) and keep rest as buffer.
You may do investment in business(or share market) with your friend.

Do Make A List of All Expense
Distribute your salary according to your needs like Food, Housing, Utilities, Educational Costs, Insurance etc.

Lastly Don't Forget to Plan for Some Budget-Busters.

PS. I was NOT joking about being single but right girlfriend/wife can support you to save and even plan a rock solid budget.

I highly recommend this budget software: YNAB. I have struggled for my adult life with finding a home budgeting method that I would find helpful rather than find cumbersome, difficult and a chore. This one wins.

I hope you find it good also.

Cheers.
Take the mirror from your bathroom wall and lay it on your table.

Arrange your money in neat stacks atop the mirror.

More than you expected, right? Buy some games.
