Yeah, Boll's movies are kinda like that. Not that I'm defending him, but he has a point when he says it's not his fault to make bad adaptations, because the owners of the original IPs just throw the content away and only appear when the movie is finished. You could say a publisher's work is to sell material, but we have seen enough shitty adaptations in any medium to see Uwe Boll as some sot of "criminal against art".
