apehater: i dont collect games to retrade,

i dont want to get too personal at least not to the full forum, but i gave this games to my brother, who also wanted them!
Great! Except it would have been much better if you'd informed people beforehand. You take numerous games daily, with nothing more than "i want it, thanks", then expect people not to notice or ask questions? -_-

Doesn't change what I wrote, does it? If you don't make your intentions clear when claiming a gift, you're abusing the gifter's generosity. For that matter, if you take several games every day, from the same person, that too is abusing the gifter's generosity. And lest you take this too personally, THIS APPLIES TO EVERYONE!

How much more common sense does this have to make?!

thats not how i see it, this here stayes a forum in the internet and i prefer not to show everything of my life in the net some anonymity should be allowed. so why should i bother the people here with to much personel details. its already too much in my opinion to tell you all i have a brother!!!!

amund: I traded these XCOM games with you 3 days ago, why do you need more? Sounds like to me you're taking advantage of people's generosity. There are people that are genuinely interested in these games that's that gifting threads are for and the games should go to these people, not someone collecting games to re-trade.

Well, if you wanted people to gift you the games for your brother you should say so, it's best to be open and transparent of your intentions. If you have gotten them once then it's best to step back and not ask for more.

When it comes to re-trading, you have already re-traded one game from me to someone else, if that's collecting to re-trade or not that's matter of opinion. I don't approve of re-trading, think it's wrong and if you are going to do it you should be clear about it.

Well said.

I'd like all the lurkers here to reread this. there is more than one person GREATLY abusing this thread as well as others.
Ask yourself what you've done to make the site better or what you have contributed in the last few months. If YOU can't think of anything NEITHER CAN WE!

How can people who collect 10+ games a month in freebie have ANY time to play them?

I love the fact that you're focusing on this stuff and not on defending yourself with baseless claims of innocence any longer. :)

It's still nice to say what you want the code for, if it's meant for someone else, like your brother. And that's already been made obvious here.
Guys, however entertaining this is, (and it is), we're once again derailing xckx's thread.

How about this gets taken over to the known scammers thread where people can joust and flame and defend to their hearts' content whilst openly mocking deepdig's posturing?

Three birds, one stone?
