xckx: To me it doesn't matter, as long as it goes to someone. If they choose to hit and run then that is up to them. I am not going to post puzzles and cryptic codes. I will put the code as it is and whoever grabs it first is welcome to have it.
Like I said, as long as someone gets a free game I am happy.
I really do appreciate your generosity in this thread along with a lot of other folks even if there are many silent lurkers, +rep to you as always and many thanks for constantly keeping this thread going like the Pope of GOG. ;)

BUT, there has been a long and increasing history here of codes going to the unworthy: bots and scammers, who would use them for their own means (such as building up an account and selling it on).
Hence many of the longer term / regular gifters are adverse to putting codes in the open.

Hmm I see, well luckily so far it seems almost all the codes are going to regular people. I will keep posting as is. In the future If I start to get the feeling that what you say is occurring in this thread I might change. i will be aware of this from now on. Thx for letting me know.

That's such a shame. I don't get the point of taking a code you're not interested in when someone else could enjoy it. I get that some people are greedy and want to make a profit, but then, I also DON'T get it.
