NOT a complaint, just an observation....

I usually look at a LetsPlay or two before deciding on some games, do I like the gameplay, interface etc. I saw the Telltale sale and "Tales from the Borderlands". Though I probably wouldn't want an adventure type game I thought it worth a deeper look. Onto Youtube, search "Borderlands" and thought, "This looks interesting". Watched a bit more and thought it didn't look much like an "adventure" game. It wasn't. Because it wasn't "Tales from..."

This isn't the first time either, I nearly made the same mistake with Star Wars "Knights of the Old Republic". I was watching a LetsPlay of "The Old Republic" which (I think), turned out to be an online multi player thing.

Anyone else made or nearly made a similar error?

I do realise that if I only went by the GoG store page info, I wouldn't have nearly made these mistakes, but then it usually works out well regarding whether to buy or not if I am unsure.

In actual fact the website:
experts-exchange had to put the hyphen in there to avoid people getting the wrong search, so it happens all the time.

As for the OPs question, the only thing I can think of is years ago I really enjoyed Rogue Squadron 2 on GameCube and another similar style Star Wars game came out that I just assumed was a sequel and bought, turns out it wasn't and it was awful.
An actual sequel did come out a bit later that was much better. But I'm much more careful now and I don't think I've made a similar mistake again..

Given how the page is full of stuff like "Visit our wood page for further information.", "Handling The Big Jobs, Too" and the way this logo is formed with a new line specifically after "pen is", and the fact that there is no physical mailing address or telephone number anywhere on the site, I'm inclined to agree.

Reminds me of one other website, namely Which, of course, looks like a porn site (and was therefore blocked by web filtering software, according to a book I read), but isn't (it's a site with preprints of scientific papers in fields like physics, mathematics, and computer science (it might be worth checking out if you are able to read scientific papers in those topics). The site has changed its URL since then, with the primary site now being https://arxiv.org/

I especially like the fact that the apparent porn site ends in .gov :p
