The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 50% off for the first time. Up to 80% off games that you'll find only on GOG.com.

Across the years, we've tracked down and recovered numerous gaming classics - those lost to time but never quite forgotten. We've tested, tweaked, and tested some more to get them up and running on your computers, free of the all-consuming hassle of virtual machines and emulators. We've done our best to deliver bonus goodies: manuals, booklets, and all the little things that gave us a sense of heft and ownership so many years ago.

We are digital archeologists, we are gaming detectives, and this week is all about the games that make GOG.com a unique place to be:

For the first time ever, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets a 50%, courtesy of our friends at CD PROJEKT RED. And while we're at it, we're throwing in the rest of the Witcher franchise along for the ride.

Four bundles, the best of those that returned, only on GOG.com:
D&D: Classic Bundle (up to -80%): featuring the classic editions of Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights - 10 games in total.
D&D: Gold Box Bundle (up to -50%): featuring three tomes of Forgotten Realms: The Archives (with Eye of the Beholder, Pool of Radiance, Dungeon Hack, and more) as well as Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, Krynn, Ravenloft, and others - 18 games in total.
Warhammer Bundle (up to -50%): featuring 4 games: Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Warhammer 40,00: Rites of War.

Huh? I thought these were available on GamersGate too.

Was also surprised to see them here and not the SSI strategy games (Pacific Genereal, Fantasy General etc). It seems the old D&D compilations are gone, I guess because Gamersgate had only a deal with the odl Publisher Atari and did not renew them with the new publisher Hasbro.

deonast: I'm one of those over eager people who bought it on pre-order and still haven't had time to play it :(
avatar
Leroux: I notice a pattern here. ;)
Hmm not one of those big data pattern matching type of people are you :)

Ouch I'm off to bed 2.5 hours till I get up for work
Still can't install TW3 on GOG Galaxy.
Not quite the Gold Box bundle I was hoping for. Anyway:

If someone wants a partial D&D Classics bundle at the steeper discount, don't be afraid to offer a trade.
Are the Warhammer games fixed now or they are still broken?

Edit: Interesting how the overall Review changes if you go to game pages itself. Esp. for Shadow of the Horned Rat it is huge difference.

Just noticed that you let your wallet suffer with the excuse that you get a lot of games for it, when you don't even have time to play a single one. ;) Not that I'm much different, mind you. Still waiting for GOG to release extra life time.

Vythonaut: ^My thoughts exactly!

I guess it's a good thing this ain't the Winter Sale since my wallet's health is low and I can't find any.. stimpacks around.
Have stimpacks against impulse/compulsive buying of games been invented yet?
Are the Icewind Dale-games worth getting?

Bearprint: Are the Icewind Dale-games worth getting?
You should really not listen to me*, but I'll answer anyway. Fuck. YES! They're among the greatest games ever made, but you should wait until they have a price closer to being worthy of their awesomeness, ie. full price.

* Yes, I am "slightly" partial. I haven't had anything to do with the games, such as being part of the developer team or anything similar, but I cannot rate them objectively and would easily rank the five Infinity Engine games far above anything else.

Yes. Esp. if you liked Baldurs Gate :)

Nice sale but since there are only bundled discounts I will pass this sale.

You still get a discount if you don't get the full bundle, just a lower one. Also, The Witcher 3 is not in a bundle.

Not for the Gold Box Bundle. Some of them will not get any discount if you don't buy the full bundle.
