The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 50% off for the first time. Up to 80% off games that you'll find only on GOG.com.

Across the years, we've tracked down and recovered numerous gaming classics - those lost to time but never quite forgotten. We've tested, tweaked, and tested some more to get them up and running on your computers, free of the all-consuming hassle of virtual machines and emulators. We've done our best to deliver bonus goodies: manuals, booklets, and all the little things that gave us a sense of heft and ownership so many years ago.

We are digital archeologists, we are gaming detectives, and this week is all about the games that make GOG.com a unique place to be:

For the first time ever, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets a 50%, courtesy of our friends at CD PROJEKT RED. And while we're at it, we're throwing in the rest of the Witcher franchise along for the ride.

Four bundles, the best of those that returned, only on GOG.com:
D&D: Classic Bundle (up to -80%): featuring the classic editions of Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights - 10 games in total.
D&D: Gold Box Bundle (up to -50%): featuring three tomes of Forgotten Realms: The Archives (with Eye of the Beholder, Pool of Radiance, Dungeon Hack, and more) as well as Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, Krynn, Ravenloft, and others - 18 games in total.
Warhammer Bundle (up to -50%): featuring 4 games: Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Warhammer 40,00: Rites of War.
Star Trek Bundle (up to -60%): featuring 4 games: Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, Starfleet Academy, Starfleet Command, Judgment Rites.

Leroux: Seems like the D&D Goldbox bundle is a -0%/33%/50% offer. The three newest additions only get a discount if you buy the whole bundle. Apparantly a first on GOG? Not complaining, just curious.
Same here, the games I want gets a whopping 7% off. Guess I will have to wait until the next sale to see if there is a better offer.
ALL HAIL TO THE KLINGON EMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very unexpected sale! and the discount on Witcher 3 is shocking... I thought that CD Projekt will wait a year with that huge incentive or at least until XMas during flash sales.... Wow!
Hmm... Witcher 3. I've been waiting for a good deal on this, and this is the lowest I've seen it so far. I'm not desperate for it since I haven't completed the first game or touched the second, but very tempting nonetheless. I'll have to think on it.

They're just trying to get people to play the darned thing -- seeing as how it got reviewed so poorly, they've probably hardly been able to sell any copies at full price.

;D
I couldn't resist the Star Trek deal.

I'm tempted by the D&D sale, but it's still a bit on the steep side for me.

Niggles: Wondering what the point of this sale is when xmas sale is around the corner?

mrkgnao: To steal money from Steam's Black Friday sale.
Black friday is sooo american :P

It is, but I will probably end up getting it before the sale is over. I am waiting to see if there any deals worth getting on steam tomorrow.
Oh so very tempting, GOG. I don't think my laptop can handle The Witcher 3, even at decent settings and I still have to play the first and second Witcher. Very tempting indeed.

However, I will be waiting for the next seasonal sale and grab a few less demanding games and at the same time save up for a beefier PC build by then I may have wished to buy The Witcher 3 at full price just to support it but that's a long way away.
cool
OMG! RAVENLOFT!

Everyone, please help me mourn my bank account.

I completed my D&D Classic Bundle for 80% off, got the D&D Gold Box Bundle for 50% off, and the Star Trek bundle for 60% off.

It was too much for me to resist.

You could say I... failed my saving throw.

*struggles and yells as she's bodily hauled out of the room*

Who knew all those years ago that I'd find myself buying these games yet AGAIN 25ish years later?! I remember my Gold Box 5.25" floppies.

*sigh of nostalgia*

I love you, GOG.
