The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 50% off for the first time. Up to 80% off games that you'll find only on GOG.com.

Across the years, we've tracked down and recovered numerous gaming classics - those lost to time but never quite forgotten. We've tested, tweaked, and tested some more to get them up and running on your computers, free of the all-consuming hassle of virtual machines and emulators. We've done our best to deliver bonus goodies: manuals, booklets, and all the little things that gave us a sense of heft and ownership so many years ago.

We are digital archeologists, we are gaming detectives, and this week is all about the games that make GOG.com a unique place to be:

For the first time ever, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets a 50%, courtesy of our friends at CD PROJEKT RED. And while we're at it, we're throwing in the rest of the Witcher franchise along for the ride.

Four bundles, the best of those that returned, only on GOG.com:
D&D: Classic Bundle (up to -80%): featuring the classic editions of Baldur's Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights - 10 games in total.
D&D: Gold Box Bundle (up to -50%): featuring three tomes of Forgotten Realms: The Archives (with Eye of the Beholder, Pool of Radiance, Dungeon Hack, and more) as well as Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, Krynn, Ravenloft, and others - 18 games in total.
Warhammer Bundle (up to -50%): featuring 4 games: Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Warhammer 40,00: Rites of War.

I want to buy witcher 3, but I can't play it now. But I shouldn't excpect much better sale later.... eh I'll wait.
If I had just come thru a time warp from 1995 and needed to rebuild my game collection, this would be a great opportunity. However, I already have or don't want most of them.
Hmmm interesting. Besides Wild Hunt and Witcher Adventure game, i don't see anything i need...

Although i did notice apparently Unmechanical is now Extended, meaning i might have to replay that now... what fun.
So, is this part of the cyber-tuesday sale and will last until black friday (aka 27 November)?
I'm going to complete my Gold Box collection this payday. Awesome.

So, it lasts until Sunday. But it's kind of their nod to the whole "Black Friday" thing, I'd imagine. (I also hope the existence of this sale indicates that their winter sale will start a little later this year than it did last year.)
Great! I'll probably buy The Witcher 3 if I manage to buy a "cheap" GTX 980Ti in some Black Friday sale. If not, I'll wait until I have a Tesla GPU, because my GTX 760 wouldn't be enough to play it decently in 3D.
Would get the D&D gold box bundle but the sale comes to way too early for me. Couldn't you have waited until Christmas or later? :(
Nothing for me this time.
I was mildly tempted by the Start Trek bundle and by D&D Stronghold, but survived the temptation.
And Witcher 3 is still nowhere near what I consider a reasonable price (for me), which would be about $25 for the full game (i.e. game + both expansions).

Onwards to the Winter Sale.

Please GOG.com, please get some more Star Trek games on the site! I'd love to also have the chance to play games like Elite Force again :)
Good sale but I'm all spent for this month after numerous sales.

IAmSinistar: Hmm, a fresh sale? Interesting. Probably already have all I want from it, though.
Wondering what the point of this sale is when xmas sale is around the corner?

To steal money from Steam's Black Friday sale.
An idle question: Can anyone tell me exactly what the "Adventure Pack" included in Icewind Dale II Complete comprises? I had assumed it was some sort of small expansion, but I didn't see any mention of it on Wikipedia, and Mobygames says the following:

A special gift given by the publishers of the core game Icewind Dale II. This little package includes some extra stuff for the game in a Bonus CD, which contains more special items and more. It also includes a two-sided poster with a list of the enemies around the game and artwork, as well as a set of limited edition character trading cards with some artwork.

The Icewind Dale II: Adventure Pack was free of charge with a pre-order of Icewind Dale II, and afterwards it was also given away with the Collector's Edition purchase in some online stores.
...which makes it sound like most of the content was physical bonus goodies (obviously not very relevant in a digital copy), rather than any substantial added content in-game.

I used to resent sales, but applying a bit of empathy, I can appreciate times like these allow staff to focus on patches/updating titles and preparing/testing releases. Hopefully GOG is finally able to get EA's or Squeenix's or WB Interactive's or etc.'s attention again. :P

Nothing for me but s'okay. :)
