I tried capturing with a glass and a piece of paper. But I just didn't feel like going into the glass, and suddenly it just jumped. I got scared that it might injure itself, but it landed perfectly on my left foot. How did it pull that off? I finally convinced it that walking into the glass was a splendid idea. And I finally got it out of the house.

A few years ago when the Kansas City Royals won the championship, midway through the season they were in the middle of a losing streak and getting killed in a game when a praying mantis flew into the dugout.

The Royals came back, won the game. They caught the mantis, named her, gave her this beautiful portable atrium, made sure she was in the dugout for all the remaining games, home and road.

Like I said they won the championship, and the mantis became a national celebrity.
