I am just curious as to what RPGs are out there that fit these criteria:

* Released for a computer system (in other words, no console exclusives for purposes of this topic
* Must have been released 1995 or earlier; the older the beter. (This date is chosen to pre-date Diablo and Baldur's gate.)
* Should be a game I haven't heard of. (In particular, if it's a game I've mentioned in multiple other threads, it is probably not a good candidate for this topic.)
* Ideally, the game should be small. It is preferred if the game, at least in its original release, would have fit on a small number of floppy disks.
* Prefer games that are available on this site and games that are legally free (but note that the free version must also be DRM-free for it to count).

Edit: Because somebody (namely P1na) decided to be a smart ass and make a joke, I need to add one more criterion:
* Must actually be a computer game, not a Rocket Propelled Grenade.

Try the Airtronic USA RPG-7. It apparently is one of the most versatile, most popular and most successful weapons in its class

One problem: It wasn't released for a computer system, so it doesn't count.

(By the way, because of this post, I had to add another rule (see edit of the original post). Sorry about that!)

I see what you did there. An old RPG might be better represented by the RPG-2, though.
Knights of Xentar with uncut patch - A nice and funny Eroge JRPG.
Bloodwych - A Dungeon Master like game which is better than Dungeon Master and has split screen co-op
Sword of Vermillion - Nice JRPG on the Sega Megadrive

Surely I forgot to mention the one or the other good RPG, There were plenty of them back then.

RPG-2 should be older than RPG-7, but since 7 is already 50 years old, it should qualify.

I should be the one apologizing. Didn't even read the rules, just saw the thread title, thought up the joke, and rushed to google to get an RPG name. Still wasn't fast enough to get first reply though.

If you want more Rocket Propelled Grenade discussion, maybe look at a topic I made in the Fallout forum?

By the way, the original Wasteland has RPGs in it, but I find that they are worth so much money (especially seeing as they are only single-use and you need to re-equip another each combat round) that it is better to sell them then to actually use them.

Unfortunately, that is really a console game *and* it is a game I have actually heard of and have even tried playing. (Sega Genesis Collection for PlayStation 2)
