I think not, it says CDP is separate from CD Projekt. GOG is under CD Projekt.

No it's a former publishing and distribution arm in Poland, i mean it was part of CD Projekt once but haven't been for a few years if i remember right, CD Projekt Group doesn't lack money in fact they have been doing very well and can support GOG economically if they want to.

As far as I remember, GoG did publish some games before, so there should be no problem for GoG to be the publisher of C2077.

Once, at the dawn of time, CDP was called CD Projekt and it started it all. They founded CD Projekt Red Studio and, even later, Good Old Games. They established CDP Investment, the holding company of the CD PROJEKT Group composed of CD Projekt, CD Projekt RED and GOG Ltd. CDP Investment was taken over and merged with Optimus S.A. and the company was renamed CD Projekt RED S.A. Then original CD Projekt changed name to CDP.pl which was later sold and thus left the Capital Group. Later on CDP.pl sold their digital store called cdp.pl and CDP.pl was renamed to CDP. And that's the CDP that files for bankruptcy.

CDP split after CDPR started making games (from what sources in english I could find this was either late 2013 or early 2014 around the time of the witcher's launch), they have been struggling for a while now they have no real links to CD Projekt, CD Projekt Red or GOG, they in fact had a massive lay off when CP2077 was delayed.
So I wouldnt worry.

Look at it this way (in short):
CD Project (later with Group) is the "Daddy".
CD Project RED (Game developer) is obviously the dominating big sister.
GOG (Digital Game Distributor) is the favourite son and brother.
CDP (Local Game Distributor for physical copies in Poland) was born in 1994, many years before GOG was even conceived, is the bastard son everybody hated that split from the family in 2014. CDP couldn't take care of himself, thus made the family loose face, money and respect, and are now shown to the ritual knife.
The End.
