Man, that looks absolutely fantastic and if that trailer is an accurate representation of the final game then we're in for one hell of a ride, very impressive. This is how you do a game based on a movie property, just acquire the license and make the game which just takes inspiration from the source material but is its own thing instead of being a tie in to any of the movies.

Avalanche Studios has a good track record with the Just Cause games so I am optimistic about this one. Also here is a higher quality uncompressed version of the trailer if anyone else is interested.

It looks very nice but - regarding combat - the AI looks pretty dumb... Anyway, I'll have it on my radar, although it looks too console-y for my tastes.

Now the real question: will it be better or worse than Bethesda's Fallout?

(I personally don't think it would match with old Fallout nor New Vegas, but we shall see)

Maybe all those guys standing around watching Max beat the shit out of that one guy were spectators and they bet on the fight...I truly hope Max was not going to one at a time beat all their asses. I am on the fence about the mentioned scare ammunition as I agree that there are plenty of shooters out there, but I like post apocalyptic shooters! The graphics look stellar, vehicle physics looked impressive, but I really gotta hope those scavengers weren't waiting in line to get their asses kicked.

Here's hoping this will be one of those rare license games that are actually good. I very much like what I've seen of Mad Max thus far, so maybe there's hope for a pleasant surprise.
