No, not for me.
In fact, there's other codes (also not working) like StarCraft and WarCraft. I guess just try top wishlisted games that aren't on GOG. ;)

Interestingly it seems that I get two different messages depending on which codes I use - some gives me "Uh oh. This code has expired" while others give me the "Apologies, this code no longer appers to work."
Here's some codes I've found (but none worked, perhaps because it is no longer the first of April):
92702689 -> Loom
Jacob -> Dead State: Reanimated
Devil -> POSTAL: Classic and Uncut
Letmein -> Celtic Kings: Rage of War
Platon -> Celestian Tales: Old North
Blue -> Reus

Codes that were expired:
Password
Broom
Language
Tweet
Captcha

Oh, and perhaps the April's fool's part is that none of these games were ever available.

I'm pretty sure the codes and redeem section has nothing to do with April Fools day or the secret room. It was always possible to enter fake codes or weird stuff and get an error message (either "code expired", "code doesn't work" or "It doesn't look like one of our codes") for it.

blotunga: The games are just a gimmick. You don't need to play them yo get the codes. In the redeem page you can try for example "secret room", or "test" etc.

Congrats to lucky one for whom these worked.
It seems some of the redeem codes may be simpler than they appear. Instead of retro, reddit, or removed, just re seems to be enough of a code to put in, and just about any combination of letters after it works. Sk works for Unmechanical, St for Crypt of the Necrodancer, Ha for Dead State: Reanimated, etc.

I'm pretty sure it's not really a valid code. Tried some numbers and 53 gave me Hand of Fate, which I don't own. When I tried to claim it, I got the following error message: "Apologies, this code no longer appears to work. If you believe this is incorrect, please let us know.".

That reminds me, Starcraft the original game is free now from Blizzard: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/topic/20753915707
Still kinda work in progress I suppose, but PC Mag did a story about it and the upcoming remastered.
I tested the game that is in the zip file and works alright so far with win 10.

did you try the starcraft.exe ... the launcher wouldn't ...well, launch for me either.

Tried to redeem "enigmatict" and got 86 (!) pages of apparently all non-working codes. He's unredeemable.
