...
boob armour.
disappoint.
The floor tiles look more like serpent's temples from Icewind Dale 2 ;-)

couldn't find a better screenshot for now.

But Project Eternity looks gorgeous right now. Totally hyped.

Where is the fog-of-war? Doesn't make sense to be able to see what's in a room before you enter it

EDIT: 3D models look good though, I was afraid they would stick out like a sore thumb against the backgrounds, but they look almost indistinguishable from sprites

We need more games where there's boob armour. Too many of the female chars are flat as a tack ;)

I'm getting some ToEE vibes from that screenshot - it's such a shame Obsidian opted for a RtwP combat system instead of a turn-based one. Sigh.
That's the eternal question everyone asks. The graphics might end up pretty, and the story will undoubtedly be great, but I'm afraid that the combat will end up just another uncontrollable real-time clusterfuck.

Fuck fog of war it ruined a bit of my experiance with Baldur's Gate, Fallout 1 and 2 did not have any fog of war and it did not ruin anything.

Fog of War should only be in strategy games.

Also is it me or does the screenshot looks llike the circle of magi from dragon age origins.

Worse than Ultima 7?

Oh god, there still are living people who coudln't get around combat in BG2 or IWD2? Funny. As for ToEE, because of the turn based system, even medium scale battles could dragon on and on and on.

In Bg2 and Iwd2 you were killing hundreds of enemies. Real time combat is the only solution if they are going to bring us a lot of cannon fodder to kill.

Sprouting memes isn't funny anymore bro. And if you thought ToEE had slow battles you have ADHD.

That's the solution then innit, don't have encounters full of boring trash mobs of kobolds, have fewer but more important combat encounters which are more lethal

Fog of War should only be in strategy games.
Why, tell us why a character should for example be able to know what's inside a room before they even enter it? And Fallout wasn't a dungeon crawler.
Worse than Ultima 7?
More like NWN2
