I'm in "Reconsider this s***" mode, so I am re-parking my vote. Quad gets the honors primarily because of his lurkitude.
Quick vote count review: Huh. I'm on the same wagon as Docbear. Not sure what to make of this; really need to run my "reconsideration" sub-routines.

Okay I'm missing this - where's docbear's vote on Quad? I see (I think) the vote list but I can't for the life of my find the initial vote.

Just speaking off the cuff, I think my own backup choice is Lift.
Now, that said, it's partly because I had him as being most likely to be w/w with Ix compared to other options proposed (Stan, Doc, someone else?). So likewise I need to re-read him both with Ix as null and Ix as town hats on.
Do want to re-read Nacho along the lines of what Brasas asked about his tiff with you (and I keep just never getting to your re-read because I've pretty much got you at lock-town, wisely or no), though my initial read on that was just miscommunication. Still, will take the issue you raise more seriously.
Doc getting a sub changes a lot, though. Between RW (had had Agent as derp-town, but based on initial read RW slightly negative). We could end up moving towards a sundown with 2 new-to-the-game players both subbing for people with at least some suspicion from various players, and a mod-kill with no flip.
Ironically all that makes no lynch at least slightly more tempting for me. Not ideal, but tempting.

Question for flub...oh, wait. Question for dedo...oh, wait...uh,
Yeah, that crossed my mind. And he's seemed...more relieved since making his claim? While that shouldn't be alignment indicative, a guy who was freaking out and then doubled down with a crazy bluff at least keeps playing tight, right?
But what do you make of the "compulsive" bit? How - and maybe moreso why - does it modify a town investigator role?
Paranoid at all, or is that just me?
yogsloth: It was a game-winning call in JMich's game to swallow Ix's codswallop that turned out to be true after all... and this feels the same.
Ok, yogs then. Yeah, that crossed my mind. And he's seemed...more relieved since making his claim? While that shouldn't be alignment indicative, a guy who was freaking out and then doubled down with a crazy bluff at least keeps playing tight, right?

On mobile, so unfancy and not going to put in the extra effort to consult some of my reference materials.
The flavor says we're a tiny little hamlet in the middle of the woods. A busybody gossiping old granny rooting through people's stuff behind their backs would be entirely within the flavor theme, and the lack of explanation about what precisely he does fits very well with the mechanical themes Drealmer has going.
ISO docbear; it should be easy to find.
bler144: Missed you, but what do you make of the "compulsive town investigator"?
Either what it says about Drealmer/set-up, and/or about the claim itself?
The role sounds like a heap of BS, and a little too risky for a scum claim at this stage. On top of that, it links with Ix's play, and Ix's play doesn't feel out of character for Ix. He's erratic as all hell, regardless of alignment, but I don't see him dropping this as a scum fake claim to get out of lynch. All the clues just slot together fairly well. Either what it says about Drealmer/set-up, and/or about the claim itself?

I don't know. I just checked the recent vote count post to see who else was on the wagon; he was (next?) in my ordered list, so I was sure he had at least one vote, but I didn't remember which vote. ISO docbear; it should be easy to find.

Thanks for the flavor theory. I'm assuming you're guessing/intuiting that, as I don't recall it, but it's entirely possible my eyes just glazed over at the flavor parts. But that seems to imply flavor drives the mechanics rather than vice-versa. I'd be a little surprised if that were the case. Have two wacko theories I'm considering on the mechanical/setup implications. Probably both wrong, but that something I vaguely noted with two other players earlier has me thinking.
I'm inclined to buy your read here, but for the new players we should probably clarify a bit of gog mafia trivia:
in the infamous game #28, dedo was "mafia compulsive firefighter" and the joke about "town arsonist" is actually incomplete - the actual claim was "compulsive town arsonist."
Drealmer is...probably...aware of that? So might be trolling us. But we also have a history of biting on whackadoo claims partly because mods do make whackadoo roles.
So this could be Ix bluffing, Drealmer trolling us with a role that looks like a potential policy lynch, or it might legitimately have a functional purpose.
But as a strictly functional matter it makes zero sense to have a town investigator be compulsive, unless there's a negative component to the action.

yogsloth: but because I need to think it over and I don't want to just be an ass and throw another vote out there. Darn double-posting penalty.
bler144: Let's rewind this and play it in slow motion: yogsloth: Unvote Ixamyakxim
And since I something something at all times...
Vote yogsloth
Not because I'm homicidal - I have no intention of killing yogself - but because I need to think it over and I don't want to just be an ass and throw another vote out there. Lame excuse.
bler144: I missed that explanation on first pass. The unvote fine, even voting yourself as a joke, fine. And since I something something at all times...

But you're going to vote yourself, explain it as not wanting to be a jerk, and then blame it on "OMG drealmer is making me?" Just leave it on Ix - not like his wagon is going somewhere. Take the opportunity to joke-vote no lynch - it's at L-6.
This kinda looks like a show and really uncharacteristic.
Are you...feeling ok? Is this someone else playing on your account?

I like my "neutral" theory. He's avoided a serious push on anyone, got on Ix's wagon only when it looked like it was moving. Not a top target for remaining team if Ix is scum; not likely to be blamed if Ix flips town.
Seems to be working hard enough to not look suspicious but careful to avoid looking like he's really digging into anyone in a way that might come back on him.
What was your mindset back when you were neutral thief? Similar?

Tried to appear as helpful as I could for town but not so much that scum wanted to end me.Seems to be working hard enough to not look suspicious but careful to avoid looking like he's really digging into anyone in a way that might come back on him.

IIRC as an observer I guessed you were neutral well before the claim. But yeah, that's roughly the vibe I'm getting. I think he's just skewing a little towards less helpful, at least in terms of scum hunting, because he starts with a higher NK profile than you or I by default. Should re-read before saying this, but as I recall his helpfulness has mostly been:
reminding us we should lynch somebody (works to most neutral win conditions - fewer nights to be NKed)
identifying a townie here and there (not a direct, pressing threat to scum)
getting on a wagon (once it already was starting to roll)
@Yogs - Please provide us with a full reads list, asap - thanks.
trent/lift/ix can get away with not doing so, but I'm 99.9% positive I've seen you do it, man. You can't claim you're opposed on ethical/cultural grounds and get a religious exemption like they can. ;)

Okay I laughed. trentonlf: Could be RL or he's trying to act different with the MU players involved. Not sure what is going on with him.
My guess was the second (plus a general desire to "switch up" playstyle after playing in a few different areas and / or types of games). I certainly noticed it too (hard not to) and have been on the fence as to what to do about it. There's even the potential he's "important" or is simply making a play for the late game by flying under the radar early?
I think for now I'm going to treat him just as "Player X" and act accordingly, rather than as "yogsloth acting weird."
