TammyTown: and I was trying to figure out if you were town with unreasonable expectations for what others should know about the information you have
Because you asked, I'll try again:
1) Post 221: Nacho said he expected that I'd reveal what I knew about events as soon as I knew it. He also said my timing seemed off.
2) Implication from 1: He thinks I didn't reveal about events as soon as I knew.
3) From Post 281: He assumed [that I didn't reveal it as soon as I knew].
If he expected that I'd reveal ASAP, then why not ask whether I revealed ASAP? Why assume that I've been holding out? If he'd asked whether I knew from the start or whether I'd just found out, it would have been a complete non-issue from my perspective (it would have been a completely legit question). Instead, he assumed that I'd been holding out, and he didn't like that I'd been holding out.
I don't expect people to read my mind; I do expect them to consider ideas that seem like natural outgrowths of their stated assumptions. To me, jumping straight to "this doesn't feel right" sounds like someone trying to cast some doubt/shade on someone else.
Stanari: Want more content from Ix please.
Bookwyrm627: Do nothing, reveal nothing. Blend in, and wait for any pressure to go away. He's playing just barely defensive, with no scum hunting at all.
Stanari: But he's not doing nothing; almost every post he's made has attracted attention. This is like the exact opposite of scared, conciliatory scum.
What do you see Ixam as doing? Why do you think his posts are attracting attention?
If he is doing something, how much/what sort of content do you want from Ix?
Bookwyrm627: ...Really?
Objection: Relevance.
Stanari: Your mindset is very much relevant to this game. (I mean in the mafia context of rationality in case that wasn't clear.)
I agree that the mindset is relevant.
In this instance, I think asking for a definition for "act rationally" is looking for some grounds to nitpick about something irrelevant; I'm assuming that we all have a similar idea of what it means to act rationally (act on facts and in the best interests of one's team, not on emotion).
Bookwyrm627: I'm currently in favor of an Ixam lynch, followed by Stanari. Looks like some defense in absentia, after a poorly explained case against 3rd party.
Stanari: ???
What is your question?
TammyTown: Do we not get flips in this game?
Who knows? Maybe there is some kind of coroner role in play, or possibly the mod-kill is a special case that gives no flip.
Lets lynch someone and find out!
Bookwyrm627: Actually, I'm Town Bulletproof Berserker Cop Mason. With a couple of Vig shots. Don't tell anyone. ;)
Lifthrasil: Are you sure you didn't forget Arsonist in that list?
Adding a flamethrower attachment would just be ridiculous. I do wonder if I have a bodyguard roaming around, though.
docbear1975: *Ducks* I'm trying not to be all over the place. Cristi asked why I voted for Quad, and I responded. There has been a lot of back and forth (discussion wise) on Ix. He has a convenient wagon forming,
and with so many players, scum could throw one of their own under the bus, so to speak.
QuadrAlien: ...I'm sorry, what was that last bit? To me it seems to imply Ix is scum. Surely by definition a convenient wagon for scum would be on a Town player, with the exception of some of the more unusual backstabbing roles?
I've bolded the part of her post that jumped out at me. Wolf slip concerning the size of her team, or simple assumption based on total player count?
