Does the Enhanced edition have anything extra compared to NWN Diamond?

Linko90: Keep it on topic rather than an excuse to lay waste to Beamdog please!
Apparently you have no understanding of the topic, Censor General. Also, staying on topic is the most asinine reason to (threaten to) close a thread. Thank you for finally convincing me to remove gog.com from my daily web browsing. Maybe I'll browse the front page for new games once a month again, like I used to, but I guess I have plenty of games and sending more money to gog seems pointless.

Given the OP requested mod attention, I find your reaction a bit over the top.

Additionally, at no point did I threaten to close anything!

liquidsnakehpks: Pirates of the Sword Coast, Infinite Dungeons, & Wyvern Crown of Cormyr are also enhanced ?
https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/module/bioware-premium-modules

Cant see them charging them full original prices without any reason
What are you going to do next? Link some torrent sites?'

those premium modules were once sold separately and then pulled from sale.

There is a reason why they aren't included in the Diamond Edition for free, you know.

Of course. Even the info on the site itself says you cannot install those modules unless you use modified installers.

Beamdog sells them, because they have the license to do so.

Downloading modules from the vault and then using modified launchers to install them is piracy. Deal with it.

I would give it a slack back then, when you couldn't simply buy them legally (you could call those modules abandonware if you please, but games being abandoned it doesn't make them legal to pirate), but not today, when you can.

to sum up, it's a weak argument against Beamdog to say "Those thieves from Beamdog want me to pay money for something I can get for free, if I get a hacked authenticator and a modified dll files!!!!1"

and I suspect the files are still up on nwn vault only because Beamdog are way too nice guys to send a Cease and desist letter.

They're shit compared to the community mods, and beamdog needs the neverwinter vault a whole lot more than they need beamdog -- it has nothing to do with being "nice". They want those mods because without them NN is just another mediocre game that's aged rather poorly.

I'm not talking about modules in general, only about Premium Modules that were previously lincensed and sold.

but you may be onto something - maybe Beamdog doesn't try to force NWN Vault to delete premium modules from the website because they want to be on nice terms with NWN Vault and hope mode scene is going to upload modules on Workshop

I'm just pointing out that "premium module" is a misnomer. They're OK, but definitely *not* must-have.

Some NWN fan you are. Sheesh. They were all long available directly from Bioware until it shut down much of its online support.

Just because Bioware once put it on their website for free, it doesn't mean it's free for everyone to reupload for eternity.

That's what I was trying to say before, but you clearly don't have a slightest idea how copyright and licensing works.

Not debating that. I only address the comment that since Bioware once put it on their website for free it doesn't mean it's freeware nor the product licensing has changed in any way.

Lol! They would still be available now if Bioware hadn't pulled the plug on most of their servers. They were available for all and sundry, from Bioware. The NWN community is just fulfilling that role. They didn't suddenly go private.

I bet you're going to tell me (and the rest of the world) regardless.

Maybe. If only you were capable to comprehend.

But how can I discuss with somebody who's suggesting Beamdog is trying to "scam" people into buying something that's free.

Ooooh! Personal insults. Whatever!

Where and when did I make such a suggestion?
