Hey fellas,

i had some weird problem going on with the keys. First of all, I was not asked to put any during installation, so I had to fill the keys in the notepad afterwards.I have discovered that because, when trying to access multiplayer, it said that i did not put any key in.

Then I was allowed to access the multiplayer section, but when trying to direct connect with SCOD, it finds the server but says that my key is UNAUTHORIZED.

How's that possible if it worked earlier? Any idea on what could be the problem?

Hello.

It's possible that merely inputting your keys in the "nwncdkey.ini" file is not enough to activate them. You should instead run the "Multiplayer Key Changer" shortcut available on the Start Menu or the "SerialTool.exe" file in the game's directory.
Have you used the serial keys from the game's library page? I think they are unique now. In the past they used to be the same for everyone and you had to ask for a key from support. Worst case you can ask support.

So you mean I should fill the cd keys in that file?

Yep, I have used those on the library. I guess asking the support would not be the quickest option, am I right? My dream to use a favoured soul vampir is getting harder and harder :D

They might answer fast. Depends on the number of requests.

Run the file and you'll see three fields to input the serials. Copy-past them from your library and see what happens. If multiplayer doesn't work even then, support might be your only option for a new serial, but:
IMPORTANT NOTICE! WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING HEAVY SUPPORT TRAFFIC, THEREFORE RESPONSE TIMES ARE HIGHER THAN USUAL. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE AND UNDERSTANDING.
You'll likely have to wait for a while.
