I think is time to bring some classic that must be on GOG catalogue, like the SHENMUE 1 & 2 and specially Condemned Criminal Origins! What do you say GOG?

I don't think we can expect any games developed in Japan, but Condemned seems like a good candidate. We'll probably just get SEGA releases in a slow trickle because GOG gets so few AAA games - even old ones - they might want to spread out the releases.
Yeah, I reckon it's Sega the international publisher we have here, like with Square Enix. We never get any Japanese Square games here, just ex-Eidos stuff.

And just like Square, Sega is all too happy to infect many (not all) their japanese games with denuvo on that other place.

So yes i too predict we will not see any japanese game published by Sega here.

(Would love to be proven wrong ofc. Ball's in your court Sega.)

GOG has quite a few games that were developed in Japan at this point. And obviously I don't know what's going behind the curtain but getting SEGA on board eventually does not seem impossible.

It's got lots of games from the smaller Japanese developers (Falcom, etc.) but probably only because of localisation publishers like Xseed and so on. The big Japanese companies that self publish their games internationally (Square Enix, Sega) don't seem to be interested for some reason. They're happy to give us things they publish, but not things they've developed themselves.
My guess is that the catalogues are administered separately and it's a "one hand doesn't know what the other is doing" type of situation.
I hope now we have Sega we might see some of the Total War games.

That would be pretty awesome.

We already have Alien Isolation and that's by Creative Assembly as well, so I really hope so.

In case I was vague, I specifically meant SEGA games dev'd in Japan. (Also your second sentence makes it seem you're unaware of that SEGA is now a publisher here, and did recently bring Alien Isolation and a few Warhammer games?)

The general example is Square Enix - afaik we got their Western (Eidos) games but not any Japanese ones - and Japanese devs and pubs in general apparently loving DRM. But hey maybe they will show up at some point.
The slow pace of the SEGA releases worries me a bit. Since the announcement we had only two (three if you count the upcoming Dawn of War). I wish we had a bit more insight into the pipeline as this waiting game is becoming tiresome, unless it is not marketing strategy of GoG but SEGA’s way of probing the DRM free waters.

Fair enough.

Oh yeah, crap, I actually saw that and forgot. Funnily I actually searched the store for "SEGA" before I replied, just to be sure, and didn't see a single game published by SEGA on the first page, only games with titles that have words that are almost "sega", such as "saga" or "sea'. Now I checked again and the SEGA games are on page 2, lol. Anyway, my mistake!
Hope to see Viking Battle for Asgard. That's sufficiently old... but a good game.

Was never on PC previously, but would love to see Spartan Total War get a PC / DRM-free release, but don't expect Sega to do any of the work to get it here let alone to PC.
Any chance Valkyrie Chronicles will come here?.

Also FM series is owned by Sega... i am wondering what the chances are.....

Total War would be awesome to see here, especially without denuvo. Not even the new stuff, just the classics like Shogun or Rome.

Square Enix is weird. They removed Denuvo from many of their published games after they have been cracked (the new Tomb Raiders, Nier series, Life is Strange) but havent released them here. Nier would be nice here as well as the other two Tomb Raiders. I can see why they dont release the Final Fantasies here though. FF and DQ are Square's crown jewels. Even Kingdom Hearts has online authentication on Epic.

I'm interested in getting Medieval 2, that has a ton of total conversion mods that I'd like to check out.
