What Notes apps do people use on their smartphone or PC? I usually use the defualt Notes app on my Iphone, and Sticky Notes on my PC. Was thinking about using Microsoft Onenote.
Most of my notes deal with times and mileage, so I just use the stock Samsung Notes on my phone.
I love Samsung Notes. It's great for keeping a to-do list for the real world, for my next game session, and for anything I want to remember. Silly me, I recently discovered it and was glad to not need to use other methods of keeping track of things.
I use My Notes from the Windows Store, but I wouldn't recommend it as it's rather buggy. Maybe this thread can help me find a better notes app. I'm looking for something to stick notes to the start menu, without any need to sync notes as I don't want to connect to a cloud with my personal info.

On Windows 10 there is a default Sticky Notes app you can add to the start menu and taskbar. Just click on the windows icon on the bottom left and go down to Sticky Notes.
Recently I started looking into Carnet, a FOSS notes app similar to Google Keep.

It is cross platform and can sync itself, too.
I use orgzly which is synced with my desktop computer via dropbox.

I use Sticky Notes on my laptop, to keep notes open on the desktop-screen. However, on my desktop PC I like my notes pinned to the start menu and with Sticky Notes you can't pin a note itself to the start menu.

Markor on Android. Free, open source, regularly updated, doesn't need any permissions, stores everything locally in a human-readable format. Awesome.
Google Keep.

K1ll3r_Punch: Google Keep.
I always feel with Google innovations they don't last long and get quickly discontinued even if they are popular. Case example would be Google Buzz or Google + if you remeber those services?
microsoft onenote
this is the best

yeah, G+ was just lazy made
Update: I decided to switch from Carnet to Markor due to the abject desire to just have a simpler, saner note taking app.
i mostly use the basic notepad on windows
on my mobile/tablet something called notepad (also basic app)

or i use notepad++ for very specific tasks.
i wonder why use any other program? they do what they suppose to do
you can copy easy without the shit hyperextends to other webpages/emails etc
all other try to copy to much information without much use for example fond colors? why
