DarkSaber2k: Maybe more reading and less talking would have let you see the reply before your own where it was elaborated on by another poster.
Ah yes, the one that slipped in in between posts in our conversation. If you were willing to tell me that now you might as well have done before. No need to be a dick.GamingGod81: hate doing this but I'm asking for a store credit on NMS, a program I use to help me out in NMS doesn't work the same after this latest set of patches. I'm switching to Steam for NMS. My Username on there is Trumpster81 if you want to have me as a friend on there...
Dude, updates are not forced here. You can roll back to the previous version if you don't like the latest update. The latest update isn't going to magically work with your third party trainer just because you get it from Steam, and good luck rolling back updates on Steam.

xSinghx: Who would have thought two Trump supporters would have 'unfounded and unreasonable' complaints...
As for bad vibes - why should there be safe spaces for proud fascist enablers? (To put it charitably).
Judging by another Hitlerian characteristic, however -- ultra-violence -- we see a systemic similarity, which I personally think is far more troubling. As for bad vibes - why should there be safe spaces for proud fascist enablers? (To put it charitably).
BTW, have you ever noticed that partisans never seem to acknowledge systemic issues? o.O

Okay, that's a weird reason for wanting a refund (especially given it's entirely possible to rollback to previous versions on GOG, if using Galaxy). I also find it curious that he posted a complaint about lack of multiplayer in the NEXT update thread, and someone posted a link to the refund thread only five posts later. Granted, he may not have read the thread beyond when he posted, but that coupled with the fact the refund was announced the same day he posted, tends to raise an eyebrow to the claim he didn't know about the refund.

Hey there. The deadline was set and communicated throughout all GOG channels. The deadline has now passed, thus ending the refunding period.
Also, remain civil, please.

I've been 'flamed' on here a few times; some a fair call others outrageous but wanting a refund after playing 10 hours of a game and the no mans sky extended refund is a sad move.
While No Mans Sky might of not meet everyone's expectations the devs. have worked hard to bring more to the game instead of just leaving it high and dry. And as per others have said plenty of the Mars game was played....I'd say the purchaser got their moneys worth.
I've been on gog for many a year now and while along with others I'm happy to pressure them to get more games this week has been a really nice and pleasant one so far.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never asked for a refund for a game. If a game I buy turns out to be utter garbage, it's either because I jumped on a hype train, or had the wrong first impression. Either way, I write it off as lack of research on my part, with no one else to blame.
I'd only consider asking for a refund if the game is completely broken and doesn't even start, even though my system meets the requirements. I think that's what refunds are for.
The NMS extended refund policy was clearly communicated. It wasn't a legal requirement, and it's just yet another example of GOG's excellent community focused customer service.

richlind33: No, m8, "we" are the enemy. Because "we" believe that Putin is the reason Clinton lost the entire Rust Belt, which is just as whack as thinking chemtrails are turning us gay. I don't include myself in what you're describing nor do most on the actual left. It is however the dominant narrative coming from cable news and those publications and pundits that make up the centrist right. You seem to be conflating what most people believe with the propaganda that's pushed on them.
And while yes some Clinton supporters are looking for scapegoats to blame their loss on instead of introspecting about their candidate, they are no where near the moral equivalent of the almost 70% of conservatives approving of Trump's handling of Neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, the muslim ban, detention camps, corporate tax cuts, staffing of the EPA and other governmental agencies with industry cronies etc etc - and this is not even touching the legacy issues of Bush like torture, domestic spying, climate change denial, and $7trillion for wars based on lies.
The right is still very much the "enemy" - the few voters that actually believe the russiagate nonsense are simply a problem.
