He is crying because GOG refused to give him refund on No Man's Sky. He claims he could not see deadline on extended refund, because his Internet was down for 2 days.

If you got stiffed by the customer service people 2 times in one month, you'd be pissed too. I bought Surviving Mars hated it, wanted Money back in some form, they refused... Heard about the NMS refund policy, but not until AFTER the 29th... so yeah burned twice in a month... Greedy Old Gamer's should be their new name...

Your own fault. Extended refunds were their courtesy, not a legal requirement.

I'd suggest contacting Trump and asking him for some small loan for future games or some Great Business Advices&Tricks to know how to deal with those terrible people at customer service.

From what I know, their refund policy is pretty crystal clear that you can only get a refund if you have technical issues or gamebreaking bug problems they can't fix, or if you changed your mind before downloading the game. I don't think your Mars game qualified for either.

As for the second thing, you missed an event because you were out of the loop. The only person you can blame for that, is yourself.

There is no refund policy for not liking a game. That's a chance you take. Not up to GOG to ensure you like any particular title.

As for No Man's Sky, the fact they were willing to refund people, even for a limited time, out of their own pocket hardly demonstrates a greedy attitude. You missed it, which is unfortunate, but if you miss a sale or offer at a retail shop or another on-line distributor, I highly doubt they'd extend it for you. Especially not something like this unprecedented refund offer.
