oh,I thought the steam version didn't have DRM either :) I just checked again now,I think they write it in the description when 3rd party DRM is present :D

probably because The Witcher 2 got a DRM , at launch, which was kicked fast by a patch ;)

don't expect gamecards to be reliable ...

Can the Steam version be loaded without the Steam overlay? That's what I was referring to :) I know that some Steam games can be but most require a login (even offline mode requires login credentials to be saved and refreshed every 2 weeks or so on a computer) :)

ah you meant the steam client itself as DRM,ok :P
Hey, i'm not asking or offering anything at the moment.
Currently on Steam, The Witcher 1 Enhanced Edition is 2.49$ and the Witcher 2 is 4.99$ on the current sale. Just telling you incase someone is interested, i haven't played the second one but i do have the first Witcher [bought here on GOG] and it's quite beautiful. I can't play, at all, because my computer is awfully underpowered, but the slideshow graphics i've seen are rather nice, even at the lowest settings. Have a good day, all!

does it matter ? you can reclaim a backup on GOG i think ...well at least it is the case for the boxed version

if it does ; ask here ;)

and beside that , the Witcher 2 gamecard has NO DRM (at least for me)
