Star Wars, Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

I have since years a copy of Forces of Corruption, still waiting in the plastic. Well, last week I opended the game for the first time and tried to install it. But directly after starting the setup, I was asked for a CD-Key. I entered the one of the backside of my Forces of Corruption Manual and was answered, that this code is invalid.

History: I have already installed Empire at War. This worked without problems, the code was accepted and I am able to start the game and to play. But after having installed the original game, I just went to install my all new Forces of Corruption expansion and the code was not accepted.

Is - by coincidence - perhaps someone online, which could give me an unused code for the expansion Forces of Corruption? I have an EU-Version which is meant to be runned in German.

My computer is running on Vista, but as I am able to run the original game, without any special compatibility-setting, I tthink, also FoC should run without problems, It's only for that "invalid" code, that I cannot continue installation.

Unfortunately the game is not buyable on Steam and also not on GOG.

Perhaps anyone does know something about this incident, perhaps there are others which could not enter their Serial-Codes for this game?

But he does have a point, and does not deserve to be downrated for it. It's usually the same people asking for games all the time. While that is not against any laws or anything, It is quite annoying :/
