Ah, but consider this: GOG has their sales before the Steam sales, because people most likely keep some money to spend on Steam sale. If GOG gives them a big enough title while the Steam sale is running, they could be tempted to spend their Steam money on GOG instead.
Plus, GOG would have already gotten their pre-Steam sale money either way.

JMich: Ah, but consider this: GOG has their sales before the Steam sales, because people most likely keep some money to spend on Steam sale. If GOG gives them a big enough title while the Steam sale is running, they could be tempted to spend their Steam money on GOG instead.
Plus, GOG would have already gotten their pre-Steam sale money either way.

Admittedly, I'm working mostly off a Google translation, but I would take that tweet as a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that the winter sale ends Sunday evening, and Monday will be the first day in a while where there's no major promo either currently running, or expected imminently (hence the "Unglaublich aber wahr" bit). I don't think the tweet's meant to mean specifically that there'll be no WSP (though that might well be the case anyway, depending on what major releases they've got coming, and when).

I certainly didn't expect the release of Dragon Age Origins and Dead Space slightly after the summer sale, 5 months ago. So yeah, it's just possible we might have a few big ones next week.
