You're absolutely right. I was thinking of the short period between the fall and christmas sales last year.

Yeah, the immediate Fall to Holiday sale was a bit bizarre. I think it was just an example of GOG trying to stay a step ahead of Steam's Holiday sale, as they've been wont to do in the past, but if so, there was no real need for the Fall Sale... Oh well

Going by the date of the first post in last year's St Patrick's Day promo, it started a few days before the actual day and lasted for a week.
My guess is that, if there's going to be something related this year, it's going to be different and shorter.
