Well, the post describing the credit card information storage system GOG has put into place, contained the following clue:

"We hope the feature turns out to be particularly useful soon, when you may just feel compelled to click really, really fast."

So, either an insomnia or timetime sale (the latter only occurred once and forced you to be quick on the trigger).
