As far as I know legal situation for American Laser Games is clear so the biggest problem is out of GOG's way...:-) On the other hand 9.99 EUR /piece (Space Ace, Dragon's Lair on Steam) seems a bit over the top for games that lasts <30 min.

I guess the Kalypso newsletter was for real. No weekly staff pick today, which means that the sale should begin on Wednesday; just 1 day after Steam's fall sale ends.

I don't think they will start "sales" the way I guess you mean since the fall sales were just two weeks ago if I remember correctly.... My bet is more on a Cyber Monday special.....

Yuuuup, we're officially in the late-year sale-hell. Come on, GOG, bring out the Lucasfilm bundle.

GOG did the same a year ago.
They did two half-big sales, instead of putting almost the full catalog on only one big sale.

We can expect many games that weren't part of the previous sale on the new one, plus some repetitions.
