I'm curious what the OP thinks the insults and name calling are going to accomplish.

bluewave256: I repeat the story
A likely story.

I once found a new car, the car yard couldn't sell it so they discarded it in the street with the keys in the ignition.

I didn't steal it because it was discarded.

I am not the OP.. The op is someone who open a discussion.. I did not open it.
I am not trying to accomplish anything.. Just trying to explain..
Anyway you are the one who called names in first place.. You called me a racist thief.. Even if I am not one..
You are probably a young boy with a passion for trolling.. Or worse a grown up man..

Are you trying to groom him for sexy time?

You make me sick.
It's been confirmed 2 years ago that NOLF will never get a digital release, however if it did, I would buy it.

Got the original ones, I price them as a treasure.

I wonder if we could see some of this golden pc age games lost forever...

To No One Lives Forever I would like to add others maybe not so good or not so desired, that seem that would never do an appearance on digital platforms for PC, for whatever the reason.

Heretic 2 (The best in the series and forgotten)
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
Alien vs. Predator 2
Starwars Racer
Quake Wars
Mechwarrior 2, 3 and 4 (I don´t really care about the first one)
Mech Commander 1 and 2
HellGate London

With MechWarrior titles, the IP owner is known - Microsoft. The fifth title was recently announced, too. As for MW4 Mercenaries, it was freeware until a few years ago when the studio who was in charge of its maintenance abandoned it for "other projects" (none that I can see). All MW titles would be valuable in a re-release, but someone needs to convince Microsoft that they're worth something, and to apply community solutions for MW3 and the like.

I think the same goes for MechCommander.
You know, it occurs to me, that the easiest way to get these two games made available and somewhat patched, would be for the holder of the source code to share it with someone .... perhaps even close at home.

Night Dive for instance were such an entity, and they seemed to have put a fair amount of effort into trying to obtain the games to re-release them. In their situation, going by all that occurred I would be pretty peeved about the licensing & ownership stupidities.

I don't reckon this is your normal Abandoned scenario, I reckon it is a little more focused and targeted than that, and so for those overly concerned about the possibility of nasties being included, I would say it is likely to be the opposite.

Especially with Rock, Paper, Shotgun's involvement ... which would appear to be out of character for them.

My own personal view on copyright, is that it is only as good as it is worthy of respect, and in instances like this, there can be no respect for the copyright holder(s), as they are keeping a good game down, and obviously don't care about consumers or those who put the effort into making the game.

So one can blindly follow the law in these things, like a good little robot, or one can make a stand against such thoughtless bad behavior and strike a blow for freedom. Rules and Laws are meant to be broken when they no longer serve as they should. Many of us see Laws and Rules as guides made by others that we don't necessarily agree with, and so at the end of the day, it is about respect and justification.

Many thanks for letting us know
It says widescreen patch. Does it still work in the original resolution too, without aspect ratio issues?

It is a gloomy thread about morality instead.

If it works in widescreen, it definitely works in 4:3.
