My advice in life is to not take life advice from strangers in a videogame forum, in particular from me. As a consequence, you should not take my advice of not taking advice. So you should follow every advice given before in this thread and the whole Reddit.
I'm in for Dead Cells: The Fatal Seed Bundle. Yes, not just Dead Cells, Dead Cells: The Fatal Seed Bundle. Roast me for my vanity. Dead Cells with all DLCs in my library (a construct) is also a construct, as it is my desire for it. So I find all of this very constructive.

Is this a "your mission is to not accept the mission" paradox? :P

The fates will ponder for two more days. You are welcome to sit by the fire in the meantime. We have tea. Milk, sugar or honey DLCs are on the table, but not lemons.

I'll have my tea with milk and sugar, and I'll offer around my soft ginger cookies with a lemon aftertaste from the lemon zest. ;) I sneaked the lemon flavour in, but the party is still without lemons (not whole ones). Another paradox?
I drink only eldritch ichor. Do you have eldritch ichor? It tastes awful, I don't know why I'm drinking it. But then again, I'm insane, so it really doesn't matter. Must have started that time in Leng, dreadful place, love it.

I'll allow it, as the sole exception to the no lemon rule.

I'm sure there's some around - another camper brought it. Worry not, I've always said that sane people in this universe must be truly insane. So congratulations, you are abnormally normal and certainly in good company.

Cheers! To the glory of Nyarlathotep the Crawling Chaos!

Aramandur: I'd like to be in for Cyberpunk 2077.

Lemonade is good, but I like coffee better, so here's my advice for all coffee lovers: do not add sugar, milk or anything else to your coffee. It may be hard at first, but trust me, it's worth it. You'll thank me later ;)

Orkhepaj: why cyberpukk?
Because I'd love to play it, despite its obvious flaws.
My advice(s):

0: Never go to bed angry - you'll just end up kicking your better half out of the bed (and end up loosing something about you too).

1: Play with the right card you have honestly in the long run. A house won't survive on a cracked foundation, neither does friendships.

2: Never assume the other side has nothing but hate - the world isn't like two bowls of chocolate powder in one, and ice-cream in the other separated by a wall. They're better together.

3: In Norway we have something similar and yet shorter: Do as I say and not as I do...

4: Don't listen to strangers on the internet, they might surprise you.

Not in, but thank you for the opportunity anyway, WinterSnowfall ;)

*Now, where did I put my empty cup...*

Trust me, it's like a rush on a mix of molly and speed in the afternoon, and the morning after you feel terrible for having done that to yourself...

The game is pretty good overall. Obviously, there are a lot of bugs and some technical issues, as well as the painful interface in the menus, but the core game isn't terrible. Some of the side quests start to feel like repetitive chores, but ultimately it's not bad. At least, that's my opinion.
Another piece of added advice on top of my previous post: don't listen to negative reviews or people who try to encourage you to stay away from something. Typically, they're just bitter because something didn't meet their unrealistic expectations. Aramandur, regardless of who wins, I highly recommend playing it. It lived up to all of the hype that I had for it and it's one of my favorite games of all time!
Not in

After dealing with the excess of constructs that one needs to deal with today just to continue existing, I have much boomer advice that no one asked for but all shall hear:

Time is not a construct but at the same time is something that you spend on something just like money. It can also be converted into money through the application of other constructs (ie a degree and a job) but while constructs like money once lost / spent can be recovered, time cannot be. There is only a finite amount of time while there is theoretically an infinite amount of whatever construct it is that we desire. Therefore, in assigning comparative value to these things, we must realize that, whether its our own or someone else's that has been given to us, time is more valuable. Given this, take into account who can give you their time and who can give you more of your own time and act accordingly in life.

We all know of games that were buggy at launch, then got fixed and polished later. There are many reviews on GOG talking about that. Same will happen with Cyberpunk.

So true. Especially when it is about not doing something they do... If the guy or girl is really good at it, they will encourage you. If they do the opposite, it really means that they are mediocre at it and do not want others to do their “special thing” so that they can remain “special”.

WinterSnowfall: Life is a video game too, but you're playing it in ironman mode, can't save at all and you get a randomized start.
avatar
paladin181: It's also hardcore mode, sadly. I'm not a fan of hardcore Ironman modes, but hey. You get what you get, right?
You only get to play once, but sometimes you can restart within the same game. Some even say that is way the game is intended to be played.
