The title says it all.
Guild of Dungeoneering received an upgrade today, to an all-in-one "Ultimate Edition" for any owners of the original game.

Supposedly, according to a post in the Guild of Dungeoneering subforum, this should also come to GoG, but, well, there is nothing, whereas the upgrade is live on Steam, and currently even given away for free on the Epic store *shudder*.

Is there any information on when, or even if at all, this upgrade will come to GoG?

Usually such things GOG gets afew weeks or months later .. granted this sort of delay has gotten less and less where its possible to get several updates and dlcs and the like the same day or the next day anymore .. Whatever the case a safe timeframe to bet on is afew weeks to afew months off
You know what the ridiculous thing is?
I just noticed this little gem:

https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/317820/view/3076515048878390681

The Release Notes on Steam explicitly mention the release on GoG as well.

So i have to conclude that this is fully on GoG that the upgrade is not ready here.
Well, that fits my image of GoG in recent times.

When specifically did the update happen? Asking as GOG is known to have a day late for releases of things despite same day releases I can only assume its a time zone difference thing but its a thing GOG is also known for even with full on same day game releases

Huh... according to the Steam forum, it should have already release a couple of hours ago.
And updating the steam store without having an actual release?

Well at least here on GoG there now seems a small window to still get the game for 14.99, since the ultimate is 19.99 on steam.
It's already available, both on Galaxy and offline installers. A tiny delay, considering what we GOG users are used to...

The store page also shows the Ultimate Edition
Yes, can confirm that now the library page also has been updated
So an hour and thirty minutes wait wasn't so bad after all...
The news announcement actually stated 10am PST / 6pm GMT, so looks like the launch was on time.

Well, in hindsight i might have misread something.
But one thing i know for sure: Steam hat the ultimate Edition listed, and a post from, at that time 15 hours ago, claimed the game would be released in 9 hours.
But i suspect that might have been Steams forum timestamps messing with me.

Seeing the Steam store page, combined with that release notice that explicitly mentioned a GoG release, while nothing was to be seen here ticked me off a bit, im afraid.

All good now, and sorry for the confusion i might have caused :)
