So, Microsoft bought Ninja Theory.

Hellblade flew in the face of the AAA publisher driven garbage strangling this industry... and now they're back in chains.

How the hell did this happen?

Dang. Does that mean Hellblade will be removed?

Because if it is the case... I guess I'll never play the game. :(

Well, they were under Sony's thumb for their first game, had to pay to license the engine for ENSLAVED, and then had to work for Capcom to make DmC. All their best games, before Hellblade, were made while working essentially for other companies that have just as bad a rep.

Wait and see. Microsoft isn't nearly as bad as EA for gobbling up studios and crapping them out as...well...crap.

RIP, so much for wanting to self publish their own games and i don't trust Microsoft or any other large corporation for that matter to make interesting games.

I don't really think its really that big of a deal. That being said... I just bought Hellblade. Better safe than sorry.

Ok you guys convinced me. I just bought Hellblade as it was on sale. I rarely buy 20+€ games, but this was one of those cases.

Hopefully it is a good game, otherwise I will demand a refund from Microsoft!

Maybe you'll make a profit if you stockpile copies for later.

That is not for you to decide. Maybe you don't care about anything, but people like me do. It would be most displeasing for me seeing Hellblade removed before I get a chance to purchase a DRM-free copy. Please don't start with your usual mantras about how DRM is not an issue and so on.

Oooooh... so THAT's the reason for the price increase.
