We’re excited to announce the release of the latest update to <span class="bold">GWENT: The Witcher Card Game</span>, introducing a new playable faction — Nilfgaard.

With its control and espionage oriented playstyle, Nilfgaard equips players with gameplay mechanics that allow for revealing cards in the opponent’s hand, controlling the order of cards in player decks, and use of disloyal units, among others.

The update expands the number of cards available in the game by over 60 — new additions also include faction-specific cards for Northern Realms, Scoia'tael, Skellige and Monsters, as well as neutral cards usable by every faction.

Reinstilled the game but still cannot build my deck :/

looks im not the only one who didnt get update (yes i have checked box with automatic updates) and i dont wat to reinstall all of it.. please any help??

Update doens't work, reinstalled the whole game, but nilfgaard faction is missing.

What have they done to my ST deck :(
Elves are no longer agile, Milva's been merged as have the mercs and fireball traps (though at least they spawn neophytes again)
Gonna really need to rework my strategies with this patch...
Read the whole changelog... I am completely unable to play now... Have to rework all the strategies I used! Nothing will work as it did before, this is terrible. I awaited from an update to enhance or help my play and instead it hinders it... Melitele's tits! Terrible...

I'm affraid you will have to reinstall once you get the update... After my experience of beeing succesful with the installation after 6 attempts, I can tell you right away - best make a clean installation and have a lot of free space on your disk...

Try to uninstall the game completely first. Then make a clean installation, and most of all, have a lot of free space on your disk...

I cannot install Gwent. Gog Galaxy says: "Gwnet installation posteponed (game is running)". Computer restart doesn't help (Gwent is not running on my computer).

Make a clean install... Delete any remains of the old installation... Install anew, and have a lot of free space on your disk. Indeed you will need a lot... I had 50 GB at it was enough only so - so ...

I see, however I have lot of cards in the old install and afraid I'm gonna lose them during the process.

Don't have to fear that... I lost no cards, all remained where they are. These data are stored on the gwent server, not on your local computer ;-)

After 5 unsuccesfull attemps I deleted completely everything. First through the windows uninstall feature, then manualy all the gwent directories after that. Restarted my PC and launch the installation anew. All worked fine... Just keep on trying :-)

P.S. I mean I deleted the ".../GOG Games/Gwent..." directories manualy, don't know if there are any others, when yes, I didn't delete those... Windows does not uninstall everything, that's why the manual actions...

It will be free to play :)
About the offline, they are working on a campaing mode right now
