kalirion: What didn't you like about Epiphany? The only issue I had with it was how they went in a completely different direction from what Deception made it seem like they were going to, which was disappointing since I was all hyped for them fighting the powerful group of energy vampires.
Yes, exactly that.
Also, Rosangela doubts about Bestower job at the end of Deception were completely forgotten.
Also, Joey's "transformation" in the ending. It looks more like fairy tale thing, then urban fantasy.
Also, bestowing eternity to all ghosts IN THE WORLD?! Without talking to them, without meking them face their problems?
In earlier games the whole reason for ghosts was their own reluctance to cross over. And now it was totally forgotten.
Also, Contice's betraial looked like it came out of the blue. If any, even unexperienced, Bestower could do just that on a whim (Rosa did this with Gavin's help) why such situation is considered unique?
And that was just too much. Blackwell games are story driven games and their plot tied them together very closely. Seeing the last game totally forgetting some established lore and story from previous ones was for me completely unacceptable. Regardless of gameplay and art style advancements.
morolf: The ending really sucked imo, I would have preferred a somewhat happier one.
Ironically, for me personally, that part wasn't an issue.
