gw2 has some great areas providing a base with a lot of potential. i just don't think it properly was exploited in these few areas. They came close. there were some good periods and are! don't get me wrong. it just went bad like reddit. these good areas remain, but it's got too much rewarding of simps and not enough listening.

Oh yeah, and then some cloud computing network thingamaling, which is supposed to be pretty rad as well. ASW or AWS or was it even WASD?

there are dozens of similar sell sites
So I guess many people (companies) like to use AWS, it is a bit like Windows of cloud networks, while MS Azure is Linux and Google is MacOS.

I don't understand what you're saying (probably language barrier).
Marketing is about promoting and selling products or services. If you mean that Amazon have signed up games developers to drive people to use other Amazon services, then yes, they're probably doing that. Is it a bad thing or will it inevitably fail? Probably not. It depends whether the developers are allowed to exercise creative freedom (the recent Microsoft model of developer acquisition) or whether Amazon act like Electronic Arts. Either way, it's Amazon's money - they can do what they want with it. There are plenty of developers producing terrible games, independent of where the money comes from.
Yep - AWS is a massive money spinner. It's the profit engine that drives Amazon. There's currently more revenue from the shop, but let's be honest, as the trite saying goes "Revenue is vanity, profit is sanity".

I mean the devs market themselves to the investors. In this case Amazon was shaken down. We've seen so much of the decline of PC games and so many MMo failures after WoW that the obvious point is that the US and other devs are slick schmoozing marketers that don't get contracts on merit but on their ability to network and market (ie lie) about themselves. I used to recommend Full Loot in Conan mmo way back but the devs didn't listen and totally screwed it up. Because they are sPeCiAl and they mAkE tHe DecIsIoNs sO NyA! as thei thought.
You would have thought investors would be onto this, but there must be a relationship there too.
You made an anti-leaker anti-info comment here. xD

As usual, your reading comprehension is as poor as your writing skills.

I actually thought that this was the shorthand for New World Computing. And I was wondering what the developers are up to now, or if they had been resurrected. ^_^;

Edit: There's a bunch of devs among this community. A lot of them made great games, I'd say they are of importance.
