Seconding everyone who asked for hide owned games. With 1200 games in library, it is getting difficult to quickly scan for things I haven't got yet.

PLEASE also (re-)implement an interface that allows some sort of filtering by release year/period. It's nice that it's still possible to filter by period via editing the search page's URL, but it's pretty bad that the functionality is hidden at all -- and even worse that an actual UI element appears to let one cancel such a filter once it's been enabled by the URL hack. Also, the above workaround wouldn't work in Galaxy, AFAIK.

who cares about this feature, they should be getting devs to add more games, plenty of decent devs gog has turned down yet everyone throws a damn party when the implement a feature which should have come when galaxy/website first launched

When the website was launched there were no DLC for sale. Everything game was sold in a complete edition.

That filter option should have been added years ago, but it is a step in the right direction. A small step, but it's still a step in the right direction. Sort by discound/price, hide owned games, “mark bigger editions as owned if base game and upgrade are owned”, „mark alternate versions as owned“ (e.g. Fallout if you have the non-Bethesda version) should be the next changes.

Some ideas for other possible "hide" filters:
- Base games (hey, I'm sure it could come in handy in some cases; anyway, if you have the option "don't show x", you should, generally, also have the option to only show x)
- Unreleased games (personally, I hate seeing "TBA" games and pre-orders show up in search results; this is especially annoying when I sort by release date and browse that way)
- Games In Development (this is a weird twilight state between released and unreleased, so it should have its own separate filter)

Filters that I think would be cool, but might take more work for the site devs to properly implement:
- only show soundtracks (I'm sure a fair few people would use this;)
- don't show "goodies"/out-of-game content DLC (not sure what else to call this category -- basically, any DLC that includes no content accessible from within a game, but only things like .MP3s, .PDFs, image files, and other external stuff)

Sort/filter by *current* price is the really critical one. At least you have the up to -95% collection this time, but you've undoubtedly lost millions of dollars by not putting in these simple filters.

Look at it from the bright side: They make so much money on us, their customers, that they couldn't care less about losing out on millions of dollars due to bad and sloppy web store sorting options ;)

I think that number is a bit hyperbolic, but likely still a bit true & I agree it should be added(now that we have coaxed the gog coding goblins out of their caves o.0). :)

It´s a good addition, yes. Principal page pass from 74 to 55 pages, more easy to find games you like. Sort by price or by discount it would be good as well, little by little.

And also allow multiple filters so we can further narrow down the lists. :)

It works, mostly, except it doesn't hide Season Pass etc DLCs.
Also hiding Demo games would be nice, they seem to grow in numbers.

However, I for one, would prefer if my selection would get saved (if I ever want to look for DLCs, I can still quickly de-select the "hide DLC" option).

While we're at it: I would also wish for a permanent savestate to my "User reviews" settings. It kinda sucks, that I always have to select anew, what filters I wish to use, when I want to read the reviews.

This seems to be tied to the same issue that makes you (or me, at least) have to also click the "don't show this again" button on the cookies policy reminder ribbon once every day or so (this only comes up on product pages, for whatever reason).
