I actually hope I GOG eventually does release this game, I never played it back in the day and by now my expectations of it are sky high.

What is sad is iv seen quite a few second hand copies around town in the past couple of years. Iv always been tempted to buy and sell them.

Having only briefly played the demo years ago, I've never really understood why this game is considered such a masterpiece. What is it about this game that makes everyone rant and rave about it? (also, how does it run on modern systems?)

Iv got a disc that runs perfectly fine on win 7. Though I am not big on the game, I cant answer the first part.

I also have both games on disc, and the first works fine. The second has plenty of bugs. Its an ok shooter, but a lot of it is down to captuiring the 60's pretty well, its pretty varied too. Good game. The second not as good.

Funny, I have this feeling with most FPS's (Duke3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior) but not that I think I'm raving but NOLF was pretty good fun.
