Personally, I've learned to stop tracking any early access game that began it's development after Minecraft's release. So only Dwarf Fortress, Nethack and perhaps a few others.

I bought this about 2 years ago under the impression that they were releasing the beta stage with confidence a few months before I bought it. Yep... that didn't happen at all, so I promptly refunded due to bs.

i think with the state its currently in 2026 might be overly optimistic and we wont see half life 3 until 2040
