hedwards: It's an improvement, but the wasteland 2 download is still a single massive 10.3 GB file. I'm not quite sure why they couldn't segment it off into several smaller downloads, tar does support splitting.
It's definitely an issue for me. Just between Witcher 2, Pillars of Eternity & Wasteland 2 I've got ~35GB to re-download. All told, I'm easily north of 50GB, and my internet connection is limited to 70GB of traffic a month. On the other hand, I know I'm at least one version behind on Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity. Eventually, I'll the big ones re-downloaded, and then reap the rewards of differential updates.

I don't love the $HOME install location, I put them all in /usr/local/games. Of course, it does't really matter - we can still extract them.
