Niggles: That sounds like an incredible amount of bugs (anyone got an idea if this is normal? - for a beta)

JinseiNGC224: While someone else might have a better explanation, hedwards right above did mention how Wasteland 2 has had a lot more time in beta than many other games, and it's not over yet. It could be that other games don't have beta tests that report so many bugs because the beta tests are all internal staff/testers, or the beta just wasn't long and they didn't care to flesh it out because of time constraints. This is the wonderful part of crowd funding and freedom of the developer.
As a genre, this type of RPG is just astonishingly complicated to get right. There's probably a huge number of interactions available and no particularly good way of ensuring that they're all reached. And then there's the players that deliberately like to play in ways that the developer didn't anticipate.

You can apply Monte Carlo testing, but even that is likely to come up short with software this complex.
Well my system is now downloading the new W2 patch apparently.

Also Thief preload looks huge, 24GB apparently

Holy crap, just what I have been waiting for. Only 1hr and 30 minutes before I can start downloading that sucka.

Let us know if the Inventory update is included. I'm not getting my hopes up, until it is confirmed.

Just started downloading and noticed the huge size, as well. According to the read me, it is the big update: Prison Map, Inventory and UI upgrade, etc.

Mine just this second finished and I have a couple of beers so ill see if I have more luck this time, im told there are some optimizations in this update so fingers crossed
Inventory is improved a lot.

2 savegames actually worked,

Unfortunately leaving an area to the world map was not quite so smooth, the loading screen remained but i could see water costs to travel, however im hoping that was just bad luck, im about to try again so we shall see

Edit
World map worked the 2 times i tried it, I actually managed to get into highpool which for me is a first, however after killing the 4 enemies closest I got a CTD. Will try once more

I like the new inventory, but hate that it is not full screen. I guess I must be in the minority that likes a full-screen inventory, character sheet, and journal.

I also don't understand the new keybinding of B. I'd rather use the I, but that's easy enough to change.

i dont mind it,

I have noticed that inventory out of combat is real time, one of my group was reduced to 0 with bleeding and while i was trying to find surgeon stuff the timer kept going.

Also while certainly more playable for me im still having a lot of CTD's but using multiple saves and saving often makes it tolerable

i got the Kickstarter update when I left for work, sucks to be on the other side of the globe I guess. Will take awhile for me to download the update once I get home.

This sure is good:

"Ag Center: Added cow shit to east field, made sure all shit has good examine text"

I guess someone felt like there was not enough shit in the game. There's already Pigeon Shit in the game, but cow patties is a no brainer.
Arent we just glad we backed this game on KS instead of waiting for a regional priced version to come to GOG lol...
