I think it should, but check SteamApps\Common\ in your Steam Directory for the Wasteland 2 folder. If it's still there after the uninstall, delete the folder.

It should, I don't think that Steam's client installs files outside of the library, and generally you back up Steam games by copying the directory containing all the games.

Cheers guys
I am so looking forward to this game, I just have a question for those who have the game currently (well early access beta at least). I keep eyeballing it on steam and I keep getting this urge to get it. Would you suggest going in for the beta now, or just simply waiting the 6 months (or however long it takes to finish) and getting it on GOG then. I am perfectly content with waiting if need be, but if it's worth jumping on it now I will. The screen shots look fantastic and I am sufficed to say chomping at the bit to play it.
After playing Fallout 1 and 2, I've grown interested in this new Wasteland game but even after a super sucsessful Kickstarter and how it's in early access... I'm don't trust the dev's for selling the game for 60$ eve if it was full release, the fact that it's 60 in early access makes me not want to buy the game. I mean how much did they make in kickstarter? and with all that money they couldn't even put the earl access like 22% off or something?

It looks like a good game but I don't trust the price tag :/

Early access was a reward for the $60 backers on kickstarter (may have been a bit less). So if you want early access, you pay $60. If you want only the released game, it's $25 from inXile store (both through Wasteland's site and Torment's site).
If a backer had to pay $50 for early access and a non-backer could get early access by paying only $15, there would be quite a few complaining (and rightly so).

Well I'm confused... When the game is out of Early Access will it be 60$ or will it be 25$?

I haven't got back to it. Last year/weekend was the last time I played it.

My guess is that it will be $30. The $25 offer seems to be gone, and I imagine it was an early offer at a reduced price. The Digital Deluxe edition will probably continue to sell at a higher price (but less than $60). That's just my guess though.

Will probably be $29.99 full price with a pre-order discount that makes it $24.99, I would guess.
Surely it's been funded enough to be regarded as AAA title, ie, full price $50?

P.S. How is that status determined, anyway?

That's $30 for me. :) I'm not sure there would be another pre-order discount, but it's possible. But that's for the base game, I'd say. I wonder how much the deluxe edition will cost, assuming they'll continue to sell it. $60 sounds a tad too much, but $40 sounds too.

In any case, the $30 tier I backed sounds pretty good right now, in terms of value for money. (Though prices always go lower with time. Kickstarter rarely is a good deal if all you care about is getting a game for the cheapest price possible.)

Full price is unlikely to be $50, probably in the $20-$30 range. Definitely more expensive than the cheapest Kickstarter tier that is $15 but not by much.
